![]() ![]() Zuko eventually helps bring down the Earth Kingdom and, after being given credit for Aang’s defeat, can be fully integrated into the relationship with the restored prince. Azula is always chasing Zuko and Iroh’s shadows, and she is one of her only friends. Mai’s consistent romantic interest has made her Zuko’s most consistent friend. It’s puzzling why neither has been mentioned that both experienced the ancient way of colorful fire bending (starting distantly and ending close together). Zuko and Mai became friends after he accepted himself, despite being attacked by Mai at first. The series, as a whole, does not need to focus on or be geared toward LGBTQ people, but rather on telling stories rather than getting in the way of them. Zuko had been abandoned by his family for a long time, and Aang rescued him in the Arctic Ocean after discovering him. I just finished watching the legend of Aang and Korra. However, the possibility that he is queer is certainly an intriguing one. Of course, none of this is conclusive evidence, and ultimately only Zuko himself knows for sure what his sexual orientation is. He also never shows any interest in women romantically or sexually, instead only ever being portrayed as platonic friends with them. For example, in one episode, Zuko is seen eyeing a male servant with appreciation, and later in the series he is shown to be very close with his female friend and confidante Mai. However, there are some clues that suggest that Zuko from the popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender may be queer. There is no definitive answer to this question, as it is impossible to know definitively what another person’s sexual orientation may be. ![]()
